One of the main ingredients in the foundation of a church and in its effectiveness is prayer. The Harvey House of Prayer Ministry is founded on the scripture which states:
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." Php 4:6
We are a church that believes in and practices consistent, powerful, prayer. Prayer is a place where we can enter into the throne room of God and make our request known. Having all confidence that the God of Heaven hears our petitions. We count it a privilege to pray not a duty.
Our prayer ministry reaches all ages
Pre-Service Prayer - Every Sunday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM in the sanctuary.
Armor Bearers - is a powerful group of prayer warriors who meet every Sunday morning to pray for the needs of our leadership and our church.
Kids Prayer Ministry - Every Sunday morning at 10:00 AM, teaches our children the importance of prayer, how to pray and believe in our Heavenly Father. We believe it is important that ALL chidren have full knowledge and understanding of the power of prayer. Teaching them that whatsoever they ask in His name believing that will He do. John 14:14 "If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it."
Revival Prayer & Fasting - The first Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of every month is prayer and fasting. We come together the first Wednesday and Thursday of every month at 7:30 PM for a time of Corporate Revival Prayer. It is a power-packed time of prevailing passionate prayer. We exercise our faith by going before the throne of God interceding for our families, community, and city. We know there is nothing too hard for our God.
